Hans Herzog is a Swiss-born winemaker known for crafting some of New Zealand’s most unique and sought-after wines. Based in Marlborough, he and his wife Therese run a small, organic estate growing over 25 grape varieties—many rare for the region, like Zweigelt, Saperavi, and Montepulciano.

With deep roots in European winemaking and a philosophy that wine is made in the vineyard, Hans oversees everything from vine to bottle. His wines are handcrafted, unfiltered, and minimal intervention, earning a cult following for their depth, elegance, and individuality.
