"Complex and specific with aromas of a rugged Bendigo countryside - rocky, savoury and real. Dark cherry and spicy raspberry, plum and stony mineral layers. A toasty lightly smoked woody scents adds complexity. Firm, youthful and tense on the palate, a young wine with flavours of red berries and red currant, baking spices of oak, firm tannins and plenty of acidity. There’s also lot of texture as well reminding me this wine deserves cellar time to bring all the elements and attributes closer together. Best drinking from 2023 through 2030+. I’m keen to experience this wine again in 12 months." Drink 2023 - 2030+
