"An excellent chalky mineral palate and salinity flows with mouthwatering acidity to a dry, refreshing finish. A small dose of residual sugar sweetness contributed to weight and balance to the otherwise awakening acid line, leaves a moreish closing. This is an attractive off-dry Reisling that shows a sense of place with vibrant citrusy elements and a chalky mineral palate.” - Candice Chow
"Fine-boned, linear riesling with lime zest, ginger, and white wild flowers. Taut acidity balances subtle sweetness and creates an exquisite tension. Delicious now, it will be equally delicious in a different way in a decade or two. Drink 2021 to 2033.” - Bob Campbell MW
Tasting Note: Freshly squeezed lime juice, lemongrass, hints of chalk and jasmine flower on the nose awaken the palate to zesty lemon, lime and spicy white pepper with a wonderful energy that sings of limestone soils. An elegant Riesling that is beautifully balanced with bright citrus, a stony freshness and salinity that gives the wine great length. Finely detailed and lower in alcohol, this wine is delicious on its own but will also pair wonderfully with pulled pork, fresh fish, seafood, summer salads and light-medium spiced Indian or a cuisine. Remarkably drinkable at release, this fresh and fragrant wine will continue to develop and delight for 10+ years.
